Riding the Tide: Warriors Swim Team Opens Season in Commanding Fashion

The Warriors Swim team opened its season with a dominating performance at the USJ pentathlon. The meet set the tone for what is looking to be a very promising season for the team.
The past two seasons for the team have been monumental. From the men’s team winning the LECs championships for the first time in the program's history, to the women in 2024 breaking Keene's state 16 year long winning streak and taking the title of LEC champions. The warriors came out blazing in multiple individual events.
On the women's side, standout performances came from Natasha Frisch and Jai-lynn Wheeler. Senior Captain Natasha Frisch excelled in the 50 yard Breaststroke, taking second overall with a time of 32.23.
Wheeler took the world by storm with her outstanding performance at the pentathlon. Wheeler, who is a first-year, dominated in all five events. Notably taking fourth overall in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 26.23.
On the men’s side, notable performances came from Boden Tito and Ryan Jezek. Both men ranked within the top ten across all five events.
Junior Captains Boden Tito and Ryan Jezek had some remarkable finishes. Tito took first overall in the 50 yard Butterfly with a time of 24.43. Jezek took first overall in the 50 yard Freestyle with a time of 22.62.
Overall, the Warriors concluded this meet with extraordinary results. The women's team placed first overall, and the men’s team earned a strong second-place finish. In addition, notable individual performances included Natasha Frisch, Boden Tito, and Ryan Jezek, who all finished among the top three in the competition. Frisch claimed second overall for the women, Tito captured first, and Jezek took home third overall for the men.
