The CAB Office was fairly quiet when I entered. Two or three CABbers worked at their desks, typing away at this or that. I walked in on April Fools, but with a very serious question:

Is the CAB Concert still happening?

"Yes." The student sitting at the front desk answered. I proceeded to ask when the concert might be. He glanced down at the calendar on his desk, and seemed to consider whether or not to answer.

Another student cut in from further back. "That's confidential."

"Is there anything you can tell me about it?"

She shook her head. "It's confidential."

"Fair enough," I said, and left, knowing little more than I did coming in. It was fair enough; CAB volunteers and staff work hard to plan these events, and if they wanted privacy, they'd have it. But the private atmosphere around CAB has left some students wondering as to the status of CAB's annual Spring Concert. Last year, a post announcing ticket sales were open was posted on March 25th, with the artist, A Boogie, revealed on March 5th.

Indeed, some students have been questioning whether or not the Spring Concert was still happening! At the time of writing, a poll on Fizz had 1998 total votes, asking if students thought a concert was still happening this year. 665 (33%) responded yes; 537 (27%) responded no; and 796 (40%) chose 'Don't Know/Results'.

Rest assured, Eastern Warriors, that the Spring Concert is still happening, CAB says. The Campus Lantern waits alongside the rest of the campus community to find out more.
